AAJA-NY is thrilled to have our annual resume and clip critique.
We’ve recruited high-level journalist and recruiters from the Wall Street Journal, NYTimes, Bloomberg, Conde Nast, CBSNews, NBC, Associated Press , Digital First, Fox News, Newsday and Reuters!
When: Saturday, October 27, from 10am to 3pm. Check-ins begin at 9:30am
Where: New York Times Building 620 8th Ave, New York, NY ( between 40th - 41st Street )
1) One-on-one 20-minute resume/clip critique with recruiters
2) Speakers a) Job Hunting Techniques + Q&A with NBC News Recruiter Brooke Camp b) Networking, interviewing, and branding skills with peak performance coach Renita T Kalhorn c) Dress for Success fashion advice from NYC stylists
3) Headshots with renowed NY photographer Corky Lee (optional) **
Event is open to all registered AAJA-NY members, non-members, students, freelancers, etc.
Cost: $10 AAJA student / $20 AAJA member
$20 non AAJA Student / $30 non-AAJA member
**$15 optional for professional photographs
